For more information:

Course Description
The Round Barn Bike Ride is an annual favorite and the region’s best kept secret of the summer bike touring season. This year choose from the Family Fun Ride (33 miles) or the Challenge Rides (68 or 80+ miles). The routes feature flat to gently rolling terrain through some of southern Indiana’s most scenic and picturesque country side. Riders will experience the tour’s two signature round barns with opportunities for self-guided tours of these architecturally unique agricultural art forms and enjoy a stop at the Medora Covered Bridge, the last standing triple span Burr Arch Truss covered bridge in Indiana and the longest covered bridge in the US. Also featured are Tiemeyers’ Farm Market & Petting Zoo and Starve Hollow Lake and Tree Nursery.

The Challenge Rides include the Family Fun Ride route and then breaks out to hilly Western Jackson County for two major hills and SAG stops at 2 country stores. Whether you’re interested in a carefree, leisurely roll taking in the sites or a serious and challenging workout conquering some intense inclines, this ride is sure to please you all the way around.
